Info about the Equibox
The Peugeot Equi-Trek 3.5-ton horsebox provides a safe, comfortable, and easy-to-drive solution for transporting horses, making it ideal for competitions, yard moves, vet visits, or leisure travel. Maintained to a high standard, it is clean, reliable, and ready for your next journey, ensuring peace of mind for both horse and owner. Designed for convenience and ease of use, this horsebox allows for a stress-free, enjoyable transport experience, combining practicality with comfort for every trip.
How it works
Hire Rates
Hiring the Equibox costs £115 per day, with mid-week half-day hire available. Weekends and Bank Holidays are full-day hire only.
A £200 refundable deposit is required. Your hire includes 300 miles per day (150 miles for half-day hires), with extra mileage charged at 30p per mile.
The Equibox will be provided clean and fully fuelled, and must be returned in the same condition.
Please note: no smoking, vaping, or dogs are permitted.
Driver Requirements & Documents
Drivers must be 23–75 years old and have held a full UK or EC driving licence for at least two years.
On the day of hire, you must bring:

Two proofs of address dated within the last three months
These documents are required for insurance purposes. Failure to meet the criteria may result in cancellation of the hire.
Booking & Payments
A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due three days before your hire date.
Payment is made by bank transfer.
Cancellations made three or more days before the hire date receive a full refund. Cancellations made within three days are non-refundable unless the slot is rebooked.
Collection & Return
Before you leave, you’ll review and confirm the hire agreement, including mileage limits, fuel requirements, and any additional charges.
Only named drivers on the insurance form may drive the Equibox.
On return, the vehicle will be checked for cleanliness, fuel level, and any damage. It must be returned clean, fully refuelled, and free from belongings, waste, hay, or droppings.
Additional charges may apply if the vehicle is not returned in an appropriate condition.

Hiring our trailer costs £58 per day, with an additional £17 per day for insurance. For overnight use, a trailer hitch lock will be provided, and an extra £75 deposit is required.
A £100 refundable deposit is also required when taking the trailer, and the hire form must be signed.
The trailer will be provided clean and ready for use, and must be returned in the same condition.

This is a highly dependable Ifor Williams twin-axle box trailer, finished in a distinctive and well-maintained burgundy/deep red with complementary silver trim. Recognised for their superior build quality, this tandem-axle unit is perfectly suited for the secure transport of general goods, equipment, or livestock.
